What a stupid decision to bowl Rashid in the last over. It was crying out for pace against tail enders. And Mark Wood had an over left.

I couldn’t understand it. Root would have been a better option than Rashid, he’d only gone at 5 an over for the 8 he’d bowled, but Wood was the obvious choice against 2 tail enders. An unusual error of judgment from Morgan.
 
Chris Nash is to leave Notts at the end of the season, seems like he wants to keep playing. I know he only has a couple of seasons left in him, probably, but might be a decent signing for Hampshire to solidify the top order a bit? We definitely need to sign another batsman or two.

I expect he'll end up at somewhere like Leics, Derbys or Glamorgan though.
 
Apparently there are over 500,000 people watching the YouTube stream of Somerset v Northants, probably 99% of them in Pakistan waiting for Babar to bat.

Northants 129-6 after 18 so far.

Northants finish on 140-9. Got to be a chance for Somerset, let’s hope Babar Azam doesn’t let his fans down!
