So I'll add Crawley for Stokes, to my suggested other two changes of Curran and Wood for Jimmy and Archer.

The batting depth of having Wood or Broad down at no.11 would go a long way to making up for again playing one batsman short.

It'll be interesting when these two start to push things along, if they don't get out first.

I'm not suggesting that they need to do it yet. Seeing off this post lunch spell is important. But we're almost half way through our maximum innings, and essentially are only two down. I'd rather a steady increase in rate, rather than keeping a load of wickets in hand and suddenly switching to t20 mode for the final part. Not easy to go from zero to 60 in no time.
