Quite pleased Crane will be playing under Warne. Could get some real quality coaching.

Playing one-day cricket against second XI batters, or working alongside the greatest leg-spinner ever for about 6 weeks. No brainer really.

Although I think Warney can give it a rest with the spinners now. He's got about 6 of them.

Four picks left. I reckon we need a top three batter, a solid middle order batter, a seamer (Archer will rarely be available), and a spinner. With one of the two batters able to keep.

Although there is still the wildcard pick to come next summer.

For the last three rounds I was wanting Malan! Good pick Trent. Amazed that the likes of him and Wright were/are still available going into this round.

Now we're picking Sussex's reverse bowlers! Garton can't even get into Sussex's first XI t20 team!

Fair play Woody, really pleased for him. Wasn't too convinced that he'd get picked up.

Good pick. Davies, good, good pick. Our best for a while.

So of the four positions I wanted, that's the seamer and the top order keeper batsmen sorted.

Still need a middle order batter. Pope is the only "natural" no.4 or 5. Although I appreciate that over the course of 100 balls, if any position if going to become less necessary, it's a middle order batsman (which I why I don't think Northeast will be picked up).

And a third spin option would be nice. Unless we plan on Rawlins filling that role.

Tick, Waller is a top fielder and fills that third spinner.

Three out of three. Just for a batter now. If Wright is still available, it surely has to be him - even if it means Vince dropping down to 3 and Davies down to 4.

Meh. Expensive, but can give it a whack,

I suppose we were lacking in pace...…..

10 balls from Mills, following by 10 balls of Archer, followed by 10 of Overton, followed by 10 balls of Jordan, followed by 10 balls of Russell, followed by 10 balls of Garton. Assuming we get that far of course, and the opposition batters still have their heads on.

(I know we wouldn't actually play them all, or always bowl back-to-back five balls.)

Strongest line up: Warner, Davies, Vince, Pope, Dawson, Russell, Whiteley/Rawlins, Shadab, Jordan, Archer, Mills.

Going to be fun at the Ageas next summer.

Warner
Vince
Davies
Pope
Russell
Whiteley/Rawlins
Dawson
Khan
Archer
Jordan
Mills

Would be my guess when everyone is available. I'd have still rather have had another batter like Malan or Wright.

And for what it's worth, our one-day team is going to look something like:

Alsop
Donald
Organ
Northeast
Weatherley
McManus
Fuller
Taylor
Holland/Barker/Stevenson
Wheal
Fidel

Short, Hales, Malan, Root, Moores, Mullaney, Gregory, R Khan, Coulter-Nile, Gurney, Carter

Warner, Vince, Davies, Pope, Russell, Rawlins, Dawson, S Khan, Archer, Jordan, Mills

Finch, Lynn, Willey, Lyth, Stokes, Kohler-Cadmore, Wiese, Foakes, Rashid, Gleeson, Mujeeb

Bairstow, Banton, Ingram, Smith, Duckett, Ten Doeschate, Higgins, Plunkett, Starc, Ahmed, Rampaul

Roy, Narine, Rilee, Jacks, Billings, Blake, Allen, Curran, Curran, Lamichhane, Topley

Buttler, Salt, Pollock, Madsen, Abell, Vilas, Christian, Santner, Parkinson, Mahmood, Tahir

Denly, Rossington, Maxwell, Morgan, Nabi, Lawrence, Van der Merve, Abbott, M Wood, Crane, Amir

Moeen, Delport, Williamson, Livingstone, Bopara, Cooke, Howell, Woakes, Zampa, Afridi, Brown

Or something like that.

Sussex have lost the most players to the draft (11), followed by Notts and Surrey (both 9).

Everyone has lost at least 3 except for Leicester (none) and Northants (1).
