Serious turn from Organ to bowl Hain. Jeetan showed yesterday that pitching the ball in the foot holes will bring success. Nothing against Organ, who has been tidy (and now has a cracking wicket), but a front line spinner would have bowled Warks out by now I'm sure.

The sooner Daws is back the better...

I wonder if this pitch will be used for the Kent game next week. If so, then I hope we have a loanee spinner on stand by to sign, in the event that Dawson isn't back. Can't get Rayner this time, because he's already on loan (with Kent, ironically).

Or of course hope that Crane feels in a better place by the end of the week.

Such a shame that we have already played (and hammered) Essex at the Ageas, but we still have to play Somerset there in September which could be a huge match. Not counting any chickens yet but it looks like we might have turned a corner.

My oh my!!! What is going on with Middlesex? Not a spinner in sight!!!!! Deservedly bottom of División 2!!

The good thing is that Patel is playing shots. They're just not going to any fielders.

We could yet really regret the really bad drop of Brookes at first slip.

As a ridiculous notion as it should be, whilst Patel is scoring at this rate - and facing so much of the strike - a Warks win isn't totally out of the question.

Certainly if they were chasing 30 less runs I'd be worried.
