LBW from a seam bowler! Almost unheard of this season, so little does the white ball move.

Well that was a lump of you-know-what from Somerset's batters. Maybe only Fidel's wicket was not a case of them giving it away?

And VDM - good ball from Abbott to get him.

It was a good ball from Abbott, particularly in the way that it was thought out by Abbott. But it still involved RVDM trying to play an attacking shot. A kind of you-miss-I-hit type of wicket. RVDM had just hit two 4s; if he'd played sensibly, there's a reasonable chance he could have blocked that yorker.

That's the sort of thrashing which we were on course to hand out to Sussex, before Wiese got going.

Fantastic performance.

I believe the SF draw takes place on Tuesday evening, immediately after Sussex v Glamorgan on Sky (there's no reason to wait until the QFs are played first).

Right now there are nine possible teams who we could face, and I would argue that Durham are the weakest, and Notts the strongest, of those sides.

I would imagine we'll be the SF which Sky choose to show, for the simple reason that their cameras will already be there for the ODI the day before.
