Red line, move on. One-day comp up next, starting with a repeat of last year's final.

For once, I can see quite a few chances between our red ball and white team. As a minimum, I'm expecting Fuller, Wood, Alsop, Crane and Donald to all come in. Maybe something like: Vince, Rilee, Markram, Alsop, Northeast, Donald, Dawson, Fuller, Berg, Wood, Crane.

It partly depends on whether we again give Abbott a rest in one-day cricket, like we did last year. If we play him, I'd expect him to start ahead of Berg. Either way, that's some real batting strength there (ability-wise and depth-wise). On flat pitches, we could be hitting 340+ quite regularly.

Good luck to Hampshire in the One-Day Cup!!! As for the team I suport, Middlesex (I was born in the the county) I feel they will lose most of their matches in this competiton and the 20-20. Is it time to get rid of Fraser or perhaps the person overseeing the whole process?
