A well done to Joe Root and not just about his great cricket. Shannon Gabriel tried to wind him up, but Root corrected him saying: Don't use that term as an insult...there is nothing wrong with being gay. Could easily have got upset which would have reinforced the idea that being called gay was an insult....a very grown up response.
 
Jimmy, as well as Alfonso Thomas, has joined our new coaching set-up. Sounds like his primary focus will be with the second XI.

Still leaves us needing to confirm our overseas player(s).
