Will be interesting to watch Chris Sole here for Scotland. Shame that Wheal isn't alongside him.

7 off 49 for Jimmy, and I think all 7 have been lucky edges down to third man. But, at least for now, he's still there.

We HAVE to get that opening pair sorted for next season....only one fifty this season I think.

Seems to be quite likely that Bell Drummond will leave Kent over the winter, if they don't go up. But for us to be a contender for his signature, we need still be in D1.

I'd also love to sign Gubbins, should Middlesex not go up. He's an England top three batsman of the future. I think he has Hampshire connections, from his childhood.

I do love Clarke as a four-day bowler. Good enough to open for most counties.

Not the batter he once was, but who cares.

I don't give Rilee much chance against him.

It's the fact that only losing Vince is disappointing to me, which says a lot. Adams, Weatherley, Ervine - well, yes, of course they all failed. Shock horror. And I equally wouldn't be at all surprised if Rilee and/or Lewis joined them. And if Dawson and/or Alsop were playing, I'd be saying the same again.

You're not going to win many four day matches with one batter.

Only watch Cricket in the web now as whenever I got a ticket it rained.
Anyone explain why Hampshire always seem to follow a constant pattern in Champ of
1st Innings Opp. Bowl well but one partnership gets a good score
Hants Collapse
2nd Opp Bowl well enough to set only a slightly impossible target due to 1st inns deficit
Hants bat really well but all in vain

While in the 50 they are virtually unbeatable

Shouldn’t they just pretend the Champ is a 50?

If England lose, they can only blame themselves. Got out with silly run outs and big shots, when a single a ball would do after Bairstow’s brilliant knock.

And they lost <laugh> snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Hales and Moeen most to blame for that.

I know he's only filling in for Buttler for this one game, but Billings has had enough chances now at international level, and hasn't done it. It's not like we could only replace Buttler with another keeper, because Bairstow is already in the team.
