1 down after 30 overs, and we still end up with 10 and 11 at the crease. Nice.

So much nicer not having Topley and Fidel in our tail. Very solid total in the end. Take 356 every day.

(Although I do like Topley as a bowler, so I appreciate I'm making that statement purely from a batting perspective.)

Steyn is being taken to the cleaners.

And yet aside from the odd wide ball, I don't think he's bowled badly. A cracking pitch, a cracking opening pair, and little support in the field.

Makes you realise how much losing Rilee cost us in our PP. He's our Myburgh.

I've been out...am I reading that right Steyn conceded 50 runs from 5 overs?....<yikes>

But as I said, I don't think he bowled badly.

Wood has gone for 10 an over too, either side of the maiden he bowled when Davies was getting himself in.

And two of the earlier drops were off Steyn's bowling.

Pace on the ball when the pitch is decent is a recipe for leaking runs.

I am just waiting for them to run past one from Crane.

And as I type, they almost do.

108 off 16 with 8 wickets left should be an absolute stroll. Fortunately, it would appear that it won't cause us harm.
