I thought that as well. Because Pakistan are batting, any/every good shot results in a crowd reaction shot, which, naturally enough, is of Pakistani supporters cheering. For the two wickets England have got so far, the cameras showed England fans celebrating, but the number of runs/scoring shots far outweighs the number of wickets/good fielding activities, so the excited fans are all Pakistani. That, and England fans are much more reserved...
During the latter stages of the Pakistan innings, the crowd shots were of nervous Pakistani supporters, not looking terribly happy, and English supporters looking happy, not to say confident. In simple terms, We've got this!
Don’t like to “count chickens” but brilliant bowling. Loved it that Curran hardly reacted to his last wicket & same for Livingstone’s catch. Everyone is so, so focused. Credit to Buttler & team.
Spoken like a true Saints fan, Tom. We could be 136-1 going into the last two overs and the inner Saint in all of us would still think 'We could be bowled out here, and lose'
I thought he was gone but I am guessing that the umpire didn’t give it because he was so far outside of leg stump.
I am thinking that England have the Ireland game at the back of their minds and are going after everything to get ahead of the run rate, in case the rain comes in.
