But to be fair he deserves credit for having the biggest overstep for a no ball I have ever seen. He practically stood on the toes of the batsman facing him.
I know it probably sounds like an exaggeration after just the opening game, but the hosts/holders are in huge trouble already given the NRR hammering which they've suffered there. It's very possible that us, NZ and Aus will all pick up maximum points vs SL, Afghan and Ireland. In which case the top two is sorted by the three head-to-head matches between the three of us. So for Aus to have been battered in the first of those three... They most likely need to beat us and hope that NZ beat us too.
The hosts and favourites beaten comfortably in their warm up series against us then destroyed by the Kiwi's in their opener. Going to be an open tournament.
Now that QDK and Miller found some form in SA's recent matches vs India, their batting looks very appealing too. At least five guys who can win a match with their own bat. But I'd still take ours - it's slightly deeper, and there are still question marks over Bavuma.
There are plenty of dangerous looking batting line ups, but for sheer depth I'd take England's in a heartbeat. Buttler, Livingstone, Stokes, Hales, Brook, Malan and even Sam Curran are all very capable of tearing a bowling attack apart.
David Warner's dismissal . A very good player but for all his mouth he always manages to do something that sits him back on his arse.
