That Sussex collapse might be even more amazing than RVDM's hitting last night.

What a 24 hours for Gloucs.

Interesting what we do with Weatherley tomorrow. There's potentially five different options: leave him out, leave Holland out, leave Organ out, leave Fuller out, or play all of them and don't replace Abbas with Wheal.

I'd be surprised if we left out Fuller.

I'd be surprised we don't replace Abbas (ie promote Fuller and Holland to 3rd and 4th seamers).

But I don't know between leaving out Holland, or Organ, or Weatherley.

Or they might bring in Weatherley for Donald and put Organ back down to number 7

Yeah I guess that's a sixth option.

I wouldn't do it myself, but yeah it's an option. And probably more likely than the option of Fuller missing out.

Ordinarily I'd be annoyed at losing the toss and having to bowl first at the Bowl. But after three weeks of t20 cricket, there's a possibility of batters being a bit rusty against the red ball. So I'm not at all disappointed here.

And whilst I'd obviously rather Brook was in the test team, it's still the case that Yorks are without Root, Malan, Bairstow, Ballance, Kohler-Cadmore, Willey, Rauf, Coad, Fisher, and Olliver. That's on a par with what Somerset were missing in week one. This is far from a strong Yorkshire side.

Also, pitch has that green tinge. Now is the time to bowl on it. It will flatten out after lunch.

Joe Root gets his fastest-ever Test century off just 116 balls. Just imperious. Pope still going well too, on 142.

England 326-2.

Jamie injuring Craig is an important moment in their game. There was me hoping that Craig might take a few wickets later.
