And now we're screwed, because neither guy has the time to play themselves in.
 
Depressingly I would take 140 now. Which surely wouldn't be anywhere near enough.
 
This is Essex's first T20 game at home this season so there's no real marker on what a good score is. I know Chelmsford is traditionally a high scorer with its short boundaries but I'm not convinced this pitch is a good one to bat on. 140 could be enough.
 
I still think we're 20 light, but 150 can be defended in t20. Unlike last night, it wouldn't take a total miracle for us to win from here.
 
I don't think the pitch is as flat as it has been in the past so par isn't 180 like it was before. Are we at par? No, probably not, but I think we can defend that.
 
Essex will kick themselves if they do lose though - because they didn't bowl out Cook or Harmer. And instead, Nijar and Sams' fourth overs were both expensive.
