Quite remarkable. Glad Overton got some wickets, but with the benefit of hindsight, a great decision by Root not to bowl Jimmy after lunch.

I didn’t want to jinx it by posting it here, but my ideal scenario after bowling India out would have been an unbeaten opening partnership of 100+.

Let’s continue with that theme by declaring an hour before stumps on Friday with a lead of 500+.

Whilst disappointed, I'm not surprised that we've left out Abbott. We kept on doing it in those first few group games too for some unknown reason. Annoying.

I'm not sure he's a T20 bowler anyway. He always seemed to get pasted when he played in the past and Currie's done well (who's place he would have taken I would have thought).
