Bonus. Just need to stay in touch until CDG arrives. Having both of them in the line up could be huge.

Like you said, tomorrow night will probably be washed out. So in theory that just leaves away to Glouc until CDG joins us. And even the Bristol weather on Sunday isn't looking brilliant (but far better than tomorrow).

I'm still annoyed about Tuesday as we should be looking at 5 points from 5 games which is solid enough, especially as we're playing all our away games first.

Dawson also making the ODI squad vs SL means that in addition to missing Somerset away (for the t20s vs SL), he'll also now miss Middlesex, Surrey and Gloucs at home, plus the Surrey four day match at home.

In addition, the fact the he makes the ODI squad vs SL will likely mean he'll also make the ODI and t20 squads vs Pakistan. Which would then mean him missing our other four t20 home games vs Somerset, Essex, Sussex and Glamorgan, plus the Gloucs four day match. All for the sake, based on previous history, of carrying the drinks for England.

Basically, tomorrow is likely to be Dawson's last game in a Hampshire shirt until phase 2 of the county championship starts in late August.

Kent can afford to try and hit a boundary every ball. Zero pressure on them to preserve their wickets. Could be a huge score.

We've got 4th pick in the wildcard draft (which takes place on 2nd July).

Almost half way through the t20 group stage, and the stats would suggest that Sam Hain is one of the favourites to get picked.

No longer does the weird anomaly exist of Leach having never played a professional t20 before. Decent figures too.
