Vince not taking his chance again. Don't think he'll get another unless he does something big in the 2nd inns

I never saw Vince as a test player anyway. He should be in the T20 side, in fact, I'd have him as captain instead of the very over-rated Morgan.

Not content with continuing with way too many bowlers in seven (plus Ervine) we now weaken the batting drastically by picking Crane as Afridi's replacement (who is ill). With Stevenson in for Berg too, this is a contender for worst t20 side that we've put out in the last decade.

If we win this it will be a small miracle.

Congratulations Bairstow.

Surrey could easily make 220 or more here. 200 should be a minimum.

This is completely pathetic. Release Adams, he's done. Drop Smith as he can't bat or bowl for ****. Give the youngsters a go, they can't do any worse.

Well to be fair, we are. Alsop, McManus, Crane, Weatherley, Stevenson have all played this season, three of them in this match.

The issue is a complete lack of squad depth. We can't cope with either the injuries or the poor form of Carbs, Adams and Smith. Surrey for example, can afford to leave out the likes of Meaker and Davies tonight.

But over time losing Cork, then Macca, then Dimi, then Briggs. You can't survive forever not replacing your key players. It's no surprise that from 2013 onwards, we've slowly regressed in both forms of limited overs cricket - a regression which has greatly sped up this season, given that Vince, Carberry, Adams and Wood all have been big parts of our side too.
