I'm not sure what's worse, allowing Wheal to get 61 or bowling 57 balls at Abbas without getting him out. <laugh>

Well it’s been a fun day here at Taunton with Surrey 169-3 off 70 overs, more than 50 of which have been shared between spinners Archie Vaughan and Jack Leach. Vaughan has all 3 and has bowled immaculately, but with the rain set in it’s time to head home I think.

Doesn’t look like any more play is likely at Taunton so I’m glad I left when I did. Somerset have been pretty tight with conceding runs today, and have galloped through 70 overs in just under 2 sessions, so tomorrow’s aim will be to prevent Surrey getting any batting points. If we can pick up a few more wickets it would be good. At the moment this one has “draw” written all over it, which I’m sure Hampshire will be very pleased about.

I would prefer a Somerset win TBH. Especially now you left 3 batting points out there. :)
