Talk about a team.killing a game stone dead! Surely the Middlesex and Sussex captains could have had about a first innings declaration this for Sussex to.set up.an afternoon run chase to keep
any interest among the spectators!
 
Looking at the squad named I would imagine our XI tomorrow will be:

McDermott
Orr
Vince
Weatherley
Albert
Dawson
Howell
Fuller
Neser
Wood
Turner

Good batting depth there and 6 bowling options.
 
That shouldn't be anywhere near enough, but I'm not fussed. We always start the group stage slowly, and we always lose to Surrey, so it's quite handy to combine those things together.
 
Bit odd that Pope is captain in Jordan's absence. When Surrey are at full-strength, I don't think Pope even makes their starting XI.

Not the best first ball of the season from Benny.
