We need to give Prest a proper chance in the CC. He's a huge part of our future so needs to play.

 

Ironically, given how much people protest about shoving the end of the CC to September, this round could see the best weather of the entire season!

 

I'd hoped that the runs Brown scored in the 50 over comp was a sign that he was back in form. But that was not a good innings.

Might be worth allowing Donald to join Prest and Albert in getting a go for our last two matches.

If De Caires can get six wickets (and counting) on day one, Middlesex are probably on course for a thrashing once Harmer gets the ball.

It's nice to finish no wickets down. But even so, I'm not entirely sure that I agree with treating those 23 overs as if it was only 7 overs. We could have made slightly more of an effort.
