The loss of form by so many Hants players over such a short period of time is really mystifying, esp really talented batters such as James Vince. His confidence must be really shot to go from one of the countries most promising and leading run scorers to this. Very, very odd.

Vince averages 18.42 in the Championship this season, having scored 350 runs from 19 innings, with two 50s.

In t20 he averages 51.00, having scored 510 from 13 innings, with four 50s.

Good to see McManus come into the team and be the one to help us to a draw. It shows character, which we have very much lacked so far this season. But at the same time, his failed to stump Muchall should not be forgotten. The guy went on and scored about another 110 runs thereafter - pretty much equal to Durham's first innings lead.

Massive game tomorrow.

I think Hampshire will go through. It would take Essex beating Kent, Glamorgan hammering Gloucestershire and Sussex to beat Surrey for Hants not to make it.

Ha! The forecast for tomorrow night is rain in the south! Heavy ****ing rain all day and night. What luck we played today! :smiley-finger007:
