Vince made a complete cock up at the toss by deciding to bowl first. What on earth possessed him to do that only god knows.

Sussex were dead 20 mins ago. Luke Wright has just clicked into gear though and they might now beat Gloucs.

We didn't have much of a chance in this run chase any way. Carberry going completely ends it. Nothing left to come with no Ervine.

66/7. This is humiliating. Someone needs to give them a massive bollocking for the last 3 performances.

In terms of runs, 73 was our biggest ever t20 defeat before tonight (away to Sussex in 2007). Going to thrash that record here.

Maybe I have missed it, don't know if someone has commented on it yet but noticed that Chris Lewis has recently been released from prison. I would like to wish him luck on rebuilding his life after his period inside where I hope he has had plenty of time to reflect on his offence and the damage cocaine taken illicitly, does to people over a period of time.

Somerset-Glamorgan about to start. Both sides have the chance to jump above us into 4th place (albeit having played more than us).

Hopefully it will be a Glamorgan win. Their NRR is worse than ours at present, they have already played one game more than us, and there's no chance of Gayle playing for them in the KO stages should they get there.

Play has resumed at Lords. Carberry starting well post rain break.

An understatement to say Hampshire's batsmen have struggled since promotion to Div 1, i thought that they would do considerably better than this - but that's life Jim.

55/4. Division 2 here we come.

Far, far too early.

We've been truly awful this season, with bat and ball. And today has been no different so far. But whilst our performances warrant relegation, it doesn't mean that we will go down. Worcs and Notts have both been poor this season, as were Somerset until two games ago.

More so in the County Championship than most other sports are just a few wins so massively important. 16 points vs 5 points or 0 points is massive.

I don't think Durham won any of their first ten D1 games last season, and they survived with ease. And now lead D1.

Yeah, I was being a bit melodramatic. It's just so frustrating to see us so ****.

We really need to stop leaving balls that are heading for the ****ing stumps. First Carberry was lbw playing no shot, then Wheater leaves one and is bowled.
