County Championship looks to be going north again, Durham or Yorkshire. Even though they have several players missing on England duty, those who come in are more than capable of stepping up by the looks of things. Those in the South will be fighting to escape the drop.

Presumably Dawson will start tonight, in Ervine's absence. I think I'd be tempted to put Berg up the order, rather than slot Dawson into Slug's position or push Smith up one place.
 
Don't give your wicket away, and 200 can be chased at Chelmsford. Small ground.

Really don't understand the selection of Gatting.
 
Might have to turn to our 6th bowler. Oh no wait, we picked Gatting.
 
Why can't Wood bowl death overs like that in matches when the opposition don't already have 200+ on the board?
 
Bopara is the only bowler who I worry about. The rest of them can be painfully expensive at times.
