Big wicket Bird. The Somerset four dayer coming up is massive, so a few wickets for Bird tonight and tomorrow could be important for him ahead of that game.

Turning to this Essex-Kent game, I think I'm happy that it looks like Kent will win this. Even taking into consideration Alex Blake's love of playing us, I think Essex are slightly more dangerous.

With 1 needed from 6 balls, I'm not sure that Kent needed to promote Coles. Especially given he's the non striker.
