No Jordan or Shahzad in the tail, so we really should be looking to get them out for 250 or less. Hopefully Fidel can bounce one or two of them out.

Not that I know anything about the new kid, mind.
 
Sussex 251 all out. We bowled poorly to Nash and Wright after lunch but to get them from 202/4 to 251 all out is a very good effort.
 
It probably does need pointing out that in the last four day game at hove, the scores were 180, 191, 200, and 190-9. Although the pitch was marked down, it wasn't sufficiently so to lead to a points deduction.

And the match before that at hove, they were 269, 192, 209 and 207.
 
Sean Terry hits a straight drive, Magoffin gets a hand on it, ball hits stumps, Adams run out. Balls.
 
Now would be a great time for Vince to remember how to score 4 day runs.

Phew. Fingers crossed he can convert it into a century tomorrow. We could yet come away with a 50+ lead on first innings, or indeed find ourselves 80 behind on first innings. First session tomorrow is going to be very interesting.

We've now (finally) announced Andre Adams' retirement from cricket.

Briggs staying in overnight could be important If he comes out swinging tomorrow and gets a quick 20 or 30 which is he is capable of.
