Boy Scouts Troop 1147 of Pickering Ohio.
We are a boy-led and boy-run troop, inspired by the Scout Oath and Law.
We provide a year-round program of activities, including high-adventure and community service, giving boys the opportunity to advance in rank and practice leadership and teamwork in a friendly atmosphere.
We promote Boy Scouting in our community.
The troop meets every Thursday at 7:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Pickerington. Seton Parish is the troop's chartered organization.

The Siege of Damascus took place between 24 July and 29 July 1148, during the Second Crusade. It ended in a decisive crusader defeat and led to the disintegration of the crusade. The two main Christian forces that marched to the Holy Land in response to Pope Eugene III and Bernard of Clairvaux's call for the Second Crusade were led by Louis VII of France and Conrad III of Germany. Both faced disastrous marches across Anatolia in the months that followed, with most of their armies being destroyed. The original focus of the crusade was Edessa, but in Jerusalem, the preferred target of King Baldwin III and the Knights Templar was Damascus. At the Council of Acre, magnates from France, Germany, and the Kingdom of Jerusalem decided to divert the crusade to Damascus.
 
USS Susanville (PC-1149) was a patrol boat in the service of the United States Navy during World War II.
She was laid down as PC-1149 on 6 November 1943 at the Defoe Shipbuilding Company in Bay City, Michigan; launched on 11 January 1944; and commissioned on 22 June 1944.
She sailed, via the Mississippi River and New Orleans, Louisiana, to the Gulf of Mexico and conducted shakedown training out of Miami, Florida. During her first year of service, PC-1149 cruised the waters along the east coast of the United States and in the Caribbean Sea. She patrolled for German U-boats and escorted coastal and Caribbean convoys from port to port. The submarine chaser ranged as far north as New York and as far south as Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
