This locomotive RSH7817 was one of two built in 1954 by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn to work at the Castle Donington Power Station on the River Trent In Leicestershire.
The other locomotive was RSH 7818 which has also been preserved.
The historic GWR 7819 Hinton Manor locomotive has returned to Aberystwyth, marking its first appearance in nearly 35 years.
Now on display at the Engine Shed Museum, visitors can explore its rich history and ties to mid and west Wales.

Taken about 6 weeks before she was withdrawn & sent to Woodham's scrapyard in Barry.
Saw her with sister engine 7823 Hook Norton Manor on Royal Train duties sometime in the late 50's - early 60's.
She was saved for preservation & is on static display in Swindon.
7829 Ramsbury Manor at Carnarthen 07-1962.
British locomotive 7829 "Ramsbury Manor" was a GWR 7800 Manor Class 4-6-0 steam engine, built by British Railways in December 1950. As part of the final batch of the class, it operated until the very end of Western Region steam on December 31, 1965, and was notably one of the last two Manors in service, alongside 7808 Cookham Manor.
Seen opposite Heritage Surf in Manly in January 2002 with a rare Custom CB50 body is 7831 (MO7831). The bus is two years newer than 7831 but was not built on the low floor O405NH but the older O405 chassis.
