Vintage 1932 built LMS diesel shunter no.7401 is seen on a 'rusty rail' excursion into the weeds while working the Branch Line Society's Middleton Railway all line tour. The UK Branch Line Society pride themselves on being able to reach the parts of the network others fail to do and this tour was no exception.

Collett GWR 7411 Class 0-6-0PT built 1936-50: 7411 built 1936 in faded GWR livery (unknown) - they were a non-fitted version of the ‘64xx’ Class for light freight and shunting duties with higher boiler pressure.
