BROADCOM ACSL-6310-00TE

The ACSL-6310-00TE is a 3-channel 16-pin truly isolated multi-channel and bidirectional High-speed Optocoupler for use with isolated line receiver. Integration of multiple optocoupler in monolithic form is achieved through patented process technology. This surface-mount device provides full duplex and bidirectional isolated data transfer and communication capability. Available in 15Mbd speed option and wide supply voltage range. This high channel density make them ideally suited to isolating data conversion devices, parallel buses and peripheral interfaces. It is also suitable for serial peripheral interface (SPI), inter-integrated interface (I²C), microprocessor system interfaces, instrument input/output isolation and ground loop elimination.

Up local coal train at Wrexham General station.
View northward, towards Chester; ex-GW Birmingham etc. - Shrewsbury - Chester main line. On the left is the ex-GC/LNE line at Wrexham Exchange (off picture) on the line from Seacombe, Bidston and Chester (Northgate) to Wrexham Central. The Class K coal train is probably running from Gresford Colliery to Croes Newydd Yard. The locomotive is Churchward 43XX 2-6-0 No. 6316 (built 1/21, withdrawn 7/62).

6320 Special Saloon
On 7th May, 1974 it was the last vehicle in the special Royal Train formation used to convey Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh when they inspected the newly electrified West Coast main line between Preston and Glasgow, being marshalled behind Royal Saloon 2911, also in the Trust’s collection.

Re-numbered 6320 in Inter-City stock and re-painted in light grey/red stripe/dark grey livery in 1989 it was used as a V.I.P. vehicle and for special charter work, before being sold initially in 1996 first to Waterman Railways for charter work and then to Rail Charter Services.
