Statfold Barn Railway - Mallet locomotive
This is the Grain Store that houses the site's impressive collection of steam, diesel and battery locomotives.
The focus of the picture is this articulated locomotive - Jatibarang No. 9, built by Arnold Jung (Kirchen) in 1930 as No. 4878 and is a 0-4-4-0 TT. It worked in Java and was both the last Mallet built in Germany and the most powerful 2' gauge example ever built.
