Greetings Woopert - fine sunny Saturday morning - no trophys from darts - that Britannia is a monster longer than the Eiffel Tower with over 4000 passengers and 140 odd thousand tons- impressive yes but too big for me - the cruise to NZ was in a ship with 1000 passengers and if was hard enough off loading them at port and by tender if need be how locistically they manage 4000 beggars belief - I cant imagine an intimate atmosphere on a ship that size with that many passengers still I'm sure its someones cup of tea - trust Mrs Duck is fully mended and back in command - must admit was a lovely day when she came into port - ATB

If the weather stays the same, it should be very pleasant. Lots of unusual plants and shrubs grow there, mostly from abroad. Off to my financial advisor this afternoon as the high command has stopped work so its time to tap into her superannuation and take a bit of pressure off mine - hopefully blood will not be spilled - so what was coming into flower at the gardens I'm deciding what to plant in the veggie garden to feed the possums that think they have carte blanche on anything I grow - hope the mild weather continues and spring is just around the corner - yaaay ATB

Evening Anti - bit overcast again over here. A lot of the plants and shrubs are about to flower at the Botanic Gardens, we went there a bit too early, bit are making use of an annual visitors pass I purchased back in December. It's a lovely peaceful place to visit, and just wander around.
Just watched Arsenal knock Manure out of the F A Cup - great stuff ! Di Maria sent off for blatantly diving, and then after being booked, he prods the referee in the back and gets red carded - serves him right. Have a good day.

A sexually dimorphic species, the males having brownish variegated forewings and white hindwings, the females fairly plain dark brown forewings and buffish hindwings.

Occupying a range of habitats, there are possibly three generations during the year, with moths on the wing from May to October.

Fairly common in southern England and Wales, its range only extends as far north as the Midlands. The larvae feed on a number of low plants.
