Unfortunately not, but I've nearly fallen in that quay many times after a nights out, if that counts?
Nice. I tend to get more rise, ooh er missus, when I do an all in one, rather than individuals. Probably because of the inconsistent amounts of batter in the individual slots, and maybe because it takes longer to do, rather than just slop it all into a dish.
Completely forgot to post any photos of last week’s jaunt to Danebury Hill near Stockbridge. I used to hang about here quite a lot as a youth playing at barbarians.
And here’s today’s trip, a bit closer to home to Cley Hill near Warminster. Another fabulous autumn day! (Not sure why these don’t appear larger but hey ho).
Lovely Chilcs. By the way, we didn’t do our Mallorca replacement cycling trip to Somerset in the end for obvious reasons... Maybe in the future. At the moment, we’re hoping to do Nallorca next October.
I am fascinated by these Iron Age hill forts and this looks like a particularly good one. I spent yesterday at Avebury and Silbury before stopping off at Littlecote Villa to look at the mosaic.
