Nice pics, birds of prey do look pretty fierce close up but that's nature as they say. I also notice your mate likes to chop his evergreens down too.
To be fair to him he had a small garden that is mostly surrounded by tall ones so he has to keep them in check or it’s very dark
We've trees close by where hundreds of parakeets and crows roost, they are noisy flockers dawn and dusk! Spectacular sight as they come in to roost, difficult to get a good photo.
I should have got a few pictures from when in Spain, of the multicoloured pigeons, that turned up in our street, which were part of a gambling game. Some of the locals colour their male birds, (didn’t want to put cocks) then they release them together, at the height of the mating season, with a single female bird, and then the pundits follow the flock everywhere, in cars, on motorbikes, whatever they have. I am guessing that the money that is staked goes to the owner of the bird that mates with the female, as evidenced by the colour left on her feathers, but who knows what other side bets there may be. When they turned up in our street, the bird owners were almost aggressive in their desire to keep the residents away from the pigeons that were flying from garden to garden.
That's definitely a 2 man lift Chilco, and don't do it if the wind picks up or it'll turn into a kite
I've got an identical shed I think, bout 8'. Took me and my brother-in-law about 10 minutes to lift the roof on and secure it as it's not heavy, just bulky
I know, I had to lift each side in turn to finish the roof, but as you say, it’s the sheer size of the thing. The bloke next door is up for helping me, so as soon as I see him...
Hazy Jane is lovely you had all those before Chilcs? The only one I’ve not had there (which I have got now) is the Pale Ale. Green can. Clockwork tangerine is good too
I know I’ve had Punk IPA, and Elvis Juice rings a bell, but apart from those where do you recommend I start? Edit: just seen your latest, I’ll try some of that then!
