Out for a walk with my daughter this afternoon. This is 5 minutes from my house. I'm very lucky. I made a comment about how even the fence was taking it easy
Aha,walked those funny paths a few times, you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but in reality there are miles of open fields either side of the hedges. Lovely area.
I've been in the area 20 years now. It's not beautiful like the Somerset mendips where I grew up, but it's got its charm. We back onto a field which is barley - was playing Eva Cassidy's version of Fields of Gold which was written about the Wiltshire countryside and I have to admit it's a stunning landscape, in its pomp.
I must confess I wondered where you were going there Put it this way, it ain't deep enough for you to come to me in a submarine
Solomon’s Seal, otherwise known as Lady’s seal, David’s Harp, or Ladder-to-Heaven. Polygonatum multiflorum
Had a friend’s surprise 50th birthday last night with 48 guests. Mental...... .... on Zoom. 25 people per screen on two pages. Great fun. Finished after midnight having started at 7:30. When the invite came out 7:30-9:30 I was thinking “what can you do for 2 hours”... we were on for 5 hours. Bonkers but fun!
