I’m a real man I’m only able to cook outside. I’m pretty good on the BBQ though (kitchen foil is your friend for juicy meat) and I’m practising with the pizza oven now too. But mainly I’m lucky Mrs Tash is an excellent cook.
No particular favourite recipe, but have several Yotam Ottolenghi books and his recipes are absolutely amazing. They are a bit of a faff to cook but we'll worth the effort. Or for SW3 Chelsea Tiger you could just visit his restaurants in London
I did actually do a very good ramen on our Anniversary. Tasted amazing, but bloody hell it needed a lot of prep. I was basically about 7 different recipes combined. Literally every pan in the house used!
Revamped my kitchen. Showed my daughter the five ring hob. Fantastic dad. But you've only got one pan. Cook, I am not.
Jamie Oliver is good for food tips, I've done roasted veg like him for ages, pre boil potatoes, carrots, parsnips etc all together in one big pan then tray roast together.
The bird down the ticket office says my meat and two veg is the best she has ever sampled. She always asks for seconds.
Handmade pizzas are probably my best party trick. Other favourites of mine are pasta dishes stir fries, and Thai or Chinese style curries. Indian curries are way too much hassle to do properly. Made a proper good wild garlic pesto pasta around April time but unfortunately no pics.
