    This was great. Oven baked chicken thighs stuffed with sausage meat. Garlic and herb potatoes. Diced carrot, red pepper, green chilli and sweetcorn, sautéed. Topped with a jerk gravy (cheated on the gravy using chicken gravy granules, but DIY jerk seasoning).

    Was sort of like Sunday dinner - summer remix.

    Leftover curry.

    Ledtover chicken, pork and sausage from a bbq, leftover rice, with some red peppers, peas and proper Chinese curry sauce (from Asian wholesale place).

    It was actually pretty nice <laugh>

    I’ve just had haricot beans in a reduced and seasoned tomato jus, served on lightly toasted base made of flour and yeast.

    Perfect hangover cure…hopefully

    Normally I would do something like this in a Thai green sauce which just works with pretty much anything you throw in it and looks appetising, but had this Chinese sauce and decided to give it a go. I did think it looks something like what would come out my arse after a night at a beer festival.

    My teenage post hangover cure was similar but slightly more sophisticated.

    Toasted flour & yeast base.

    Then reconstituted potato powder on top.

    Said haricot in tomato jus next.

    All capped by a poached egg.





    I realise you can't have the poached egg.

    So maybe replace with mung beans or summat.
