Hate to say it, but he's doing a quietly impressive job there.
Yes he is

I know a couple of Charlton fans and he's very popular with them. As they see it, he's had them punching above their weight, is getting the club back to where it ought to be and shows a lot of passion and emotion in the process. He also came through as an academy coach there so they feel a bit like he's one of them

Apparently he did actually lose a majority of the fanbase at one point last year through crap performances and weird interviews which rubbed fans up the wrong way, but he vowed to turn it around and managed to do so

I always thought Juric is a decent manager. There was absolutely no way he could turn our fortunes around, maybe if he’s came in at pre season, but we were doomed well before he came in

It is salutary that Will Still has only retained a handful of last season's squad and that so many have been offloaded. More a judgement of the attitude amongst the playing staff than on Juric. I do not think Juric was a bad appointment, just that his was a hopeless task.

I completely checked out last season. No idea whether juric was any good or not. A combination of weak squad, weak player mentality and confidence battered by 6 months of RM in the PL. Hopeless task.

I can now leave this forum and thread now that the disastrous reign of Rusty Martin has finished.

After initial wins in the CL qualifiers, much against the run of play, the league form has been absolutely rotten, despite spending more money than any other team in Scotland.

Getting pumped 9-1 on aggregate versus Club Bruges was bad enough, but he scraped a win versus newly promoted Livingstone courtesy of a stoppage time winner, and then couldn't beat another newly promoted team in Falkirk yesterday.

Rangers sitting 8th and with a negative goal difference, despite having quite a favourable run of fixtures to start the season.

Goodbye Rusty and no doubt, some other mental owner will give you a chance some where else.

You'll be joining us again for more fun times when he embarks on his next disaster :emoticon-0105-wink:

I can already see 'Well some clubs just didn't give me enough time, you just have to be brave and stick to the plan. Maybe that isn't for everyone' echoing through the halls of the near future.

He will have a grumble about how he was treated by the Rangers fans no doubt about it but the fans aren't stupid. Bar a decent 30mins versus Victoria Plzen, we have been woeful, leaking goals like a sieve, and creating virtually nothing up front.

He then comes out post-match, describing a different game to the one just witnessed.

We can put that alongside him blaming the Saints fans for losing to Villa away because we cheered a long ball (when we were on 5 points from 15 games).

Just shows he doesn't learn, or even intends to learn. He is right and everyone else is wrong.

At last people can see Martin for what he is, an arrogant fraud. When we sacked him we were accused of treating him harshly by virtually every pundit! His reputation remained relatively intact. Now thankfully it's in tatters. Sorry you had to endure a few months of him but at least he can no longer pretend the issue were his players and not his tactics.

It’s funny because sometimes I used to think that he was in the dugout actually watching a different game on his iPad. Only explanation really.
