I think that's my position at the minute as well. But whoever it is, they are, they need both, plus the gravitas and clout to sell it to a good, well experienced manager.
That's the bottom line -if we are winning and playing well .... packed out ground but if it fails it,ll be horrific . We will continue on our roller coaster ride which we have all my supporting life since 1963 and with many different owners and managers still but never - comic book style
I'm all for this local lads takeover thing, been reading and researching all day, lionhearts revenue was 6.5bn profit up to June 2016, profit not turnover I don't like the Tony Adams but mind
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_theatrically_released_Lionsgate_films Lions gate I meant This is a list of films produced and/or distributed by Lionsgate. Since 1997, over 200 films have been released. As of June 2016, Lionsgate's films grossed approximately $6.97 billion.[1]
Not seeing the parallels personally mate. Just because you can make a decent film doesn't mean you can run a football club.
They don't own Lionsgate chief. That's a global distribution company that handle the release of one of the projects on their slate. They own F73 which is tidy now they've got The late late show and the bits and pieces they do in the UK but a dot on lionsgate's scope.
This seems very surreal to me I can't envisage James Corden, Tony Adams, Tom Cruise et al coming up with an idea to buy Sunderland Football Club Very strange
I don't wat that fat unfunny slug anywhere near my club. I'd rather they end up in the Wearside League.
Without seeing anything I find myself sceptical. Production/distribution companies tend to be very two dimensional, likely the press are getting carried away with themselves. It would be more likely for WME, William Morris Endeavour the talent agency, to get involved in takeovers. They love a good merger/acquisition.
