Everyone keeps telling me that not one of our current squad would make the Pulis/Taylor team of the late 90's, they are probably right.

1. Carl Asaba, £600,000
2. Robert Taylor, £500,000
3. Paul Shaw, £450,000
4. Marlon King, £250,000
5. Akinbiyi, Ade £250,000
6. Chris Hope, £250,000

6 players totalling £2.3m in transfer fee's, up against Ade with 26 players costing fresh air and peanuts,
I know people want to compare but is it fair on Ade, comparing our most expensive squad against our cheapest in both fee's and wages.

those days are long gone unless we get an investor or new chairman with money to burn.
