Apart from finishing 2nd this year Australia has won every games since England had a win in Scotland in 1986 marred by the fact that 32 countries boycotted the event. Big well done to Lizzie Armitstead and Emma Pooley for gold/silver in the road race today. Had a tear in my eye as Lizzie is always 2nd and Pooley was immense today and is retiring. Way to go girls.
