Let’s have some good cheer, this year especially. difficult to make any plans I know but presents wanted? Family do ? Hopefully pubs will be open

I think the best present we could all have is for our lives to get back to some sort of normailty.On a personal note I'd like various varieties of spiced rum and the opportunity to see all my grandkids at some point on Xmas day.Pubs to open...Yes please.

got up rather late today and while checking my emails found two xmas pressies were imminent, one today, one tomorrow. i was due to be out both afternoons. the first one arrived within 10 minutes, which was handy. then i set off for my afternoon tracks, but hull city council's usual shameful incompetence (the closure of a big bridge) had effed up the entire city's traffic to such an extent that i turned back as soon as i could. not long after i got back, the second one arrived.

so that was nice.

i have permission to open them when i like, but i'll wait till things are all official. another xmas day on my ownsome. wah!!!!

The closure of 'a big bridge' had eff all to do with the council.
