I love Christmas but feel like I've lived it all at work already! Christmas Fayre; making Christmas tat; Santa's ****ing Grotto where at least 3 kids will get missed and parents will claim it's the end of the world; the Year 1 and 2 Xmas nativity which gets "updated" each year and now has ALIENS in it which nobody can see the irony in! And finally, the children's Xmas party at the end before we break up... which is usually a complete waste of time as it involves a DVD and LOTS of sugary ****e.

The only thing that provides some silver lining is the ridiculous amount of chocolate I'll be receiving. Like the tips an american waitress receives, my whole family can quite comfortably survive on that supply without having to buy any over the whole festive period! Now if only I can figure out a way of receiving xmas cards from 311 kids without them writing anything in them.

Well it's Sunday evening and I'm finally recovered from Christmas do No.1, which was Friday.

Eight hours on the piss followed by a three child early alarm call doesn't not a well man make.
I'm the same, Saturday was a big night out. I'm ready to chill over Christmas other than more going out.

I've got one more of note, next Tuesday, but that's the site one so I won't be at home which means a lie in of sorts. Can't get up early anyway, would not pass the breath test first thing.
With any luck I won't piss the bed!

After that though it's reign things in. Just steady over the festive period.

I'm done, and am glad of it. Looking forward to chilling at home. I'll do a bit of cooking sample some beers, wines and spirits that I've bought and just chill. Need to get some good films and TV sorted. Went through all the Fools and Horses last year, Royal Family the year before I need some Christmas TV to watch.

I can't be drinking out of cans mate. Some do look like they'd be good but that really puts me off.

That said, a rep came to site and gave us two boxes of bottled Budweiser, which is essentially piss in a bottle, so those cans would be lovely.

I've had TWO bottles of Talisker. Oh joy!!!
