Good to see 2 wingers on the pitch against Coventry thought both played well and Bodin's goals were well taken. Didn't think that Coventry were a bad side but they seemed to run out of ideas when they got in front of goal

Rovers host AFC Wimbledon on New Year's Eve in SkyBet League One. Team News: Rovers will be without defender Jake Clarke-Salter, who is still recovering from an arm injury sustained in our fixture against Charlton at the Mem. Marcus' View: 'AFC Wimbledon are a decent, organised team, that have pushed on in this league on the back of winning promotion last season via the play-offs." "We know all about them and they will know a lot about us. They have the same Manager, so it will be a similar type of games to the fixtures we played against them last year." Dangerman - Dominic Poleon - Striker: A summer signing from Oldham Athletic, the forward, who can also play as a winger, is the Dons leading goalscorer this campaign, with twelve goals to his name. After beginning his career in the youth departments of Chelsea and then Southend United, it was a move to Leeds United that resulted in the striker getting a first taste of first-team football, making his debut during a League Cup tie against Shrewsbury at the start of the 2012/13 season. During his spell at Leeds, the forward experienced loan moves at both Bury and Sheffield United, before making a permanent switch to Oldham Athletic in 2014. A two-season spell at Oldham meant the striker made over sixty appearances for the club, before being signed by Neal Ardley in the summer. As of late, the striker has just one goal during the month of December. Last Time Out: AFC Wimbledon's last visit to The Memorial Stadium was back in March. Rovers won the match 3-1, thanks to goals from Jermaine Easter, Ollie Clarke and Matty Taylor. Tickets: Tickets are available on the day at the Mem, with early bird prices available up until midnight on Friday 30th December. Full ticket details can be found HERE. As a club we are asked on a regular basis, if a minute’s applause can be held during the game in memory of a supporter who has passed away. We always leave it up to relatives and friends to organise and have no objection to that practice continuing. However, as we play our final game of 2016 on New Year’s Eve, we thought it would be a good time to remember all Gasheads who have passed away during the year. Tomorrow, in the 16th minute of our match against AFC Wimbledon, there will be a minute’s applause in memory of all of those supporters and we hope that you will join us in remembering them all. http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news...tes-applause-3491488.aspx#WHr4ABAyGbDC7zWW.99
Im worried where DC said the team only let him down once so far this season which was away at Shrewsbury. I worried that as a result of thinking this, he may not make as many changes as we all want! Im shocked that he thinks the team has been poor just once this season to be honest.
Was a good win and team performance. I dont think any underperformed. Leadbitter was by far the best man on the pitch and looking like how good he was last season. Ollie did very well too. My runner up behind Leadbitter.
Reading the early comments on this thread I can't help laughing. Almost everyone expecting us to flop against both Coventry and AFC Wimbledon...I hope you're all taking a long hard look at yourselves and remembering that we've got DC, and a brilliant squad of players who never keep us down for very long. Happy New Year!
