    Sad to say our pudding of a similar vintage did not fare so well. Despite re steaming it remained petrified and was a serious challenge to the jaws. Nearly bust the magimix chopping it up for the birds and even they are avoiding it Despite being disguised by breadcrumbs.
    This years are excellent Nigel Slaters recipe I think.
    I am concerned about our environmental footprint with all the steaming it needs.

    We've been gifted a bottle of beer bread mix... apparently pour it into a container and bake it. Fair enough, but.... the mix was made in the USA, bottled in China and imported to shops here.... <yikes>
