AGAIN, you might like to take a step back and realise that Proud is clearly taking the piss. You really do need to stop taking everything so seriously. Did you really think that Proud truly meant that De Laet is a better goalscorer than him based on 2 games?
By that logic, you seriously think I meant Faye was a better goalscorer than Waghorn? Actually, forget that, he is.
Then why say it, if it didn't have anything to do with anything? Be honest, you were trying to put a negative spin on the number of goals he has scored this season. In response to your last sentence, the mighty Aluko has scored one goal against a team currently above 14th in the league
Isn't this your post? Why go and research which sides he's scored for if it wasn't to make a point? You're clearly implying he can only score passed ****e sides.
I saw someone had mentioned it, Proud had dismissed it, I researched it and thought it was quite an interesting stat. Not everything I post on here has to be taken as a dig you know? He's also provided more entertainment in 45 minutes than Nige's sides did in 18 months at City.
I've covered why I made the post just now, and I didn't imply that, the stats do, I just posted the facts. I think he is, perhaps only with his head but his accuracy is incredible. Waghorn on the other hand, is far from clinical. If Faye has 4 from centre-back, I reckon he'd have at least double if he was playing up top.
It did surprise me and I do find that quite interesting. However, Aluko isn't really supposed to be a goalscorer so his record doesn't bother me as much as the likes of Proschwitz and Simpson.
But why provide the facts? What's your point? The stats don't imply that at all. He was playing for Millwall, he didn't have the talent around him he does now.
Shouldn't dismiss it? That's exactly what he should have done for the reason pointed out in my last post. And the OP was Danger Fox, he didn't say anything of the sort.
If you re-read I said the OP of the point, rather than simply the OP. I can't remember who first pointed out Wood's lack of goals against top sides. He's actually scored 27 goals in his career, which is pretty impressive. Also, I place great emphasis on the fact that he is a center half. Therefore the amount of chances he gets in front of goal are bound to be far less than that of a striker.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz lets change the record and back to the original thread...CHRIS WOOD...what a great signing..and a bargain too !!
He didn't dismiss it because he thought it was incorrect, but because it was a poor attempt to find something negative to say, about the goals he scored for Millwall, and we don't care
De Laet has also scored more goals the Lionel Messi in 2013 In case you didn't notice both posts were tongue in cheek. Don't get too work up over things
This was just asking to be invaded by Hull fans, ah what the heck WE GOT CHRIS WOOD AND YOU DIDN'T AND HE'S GREAT!
More bullshit - what our chairman really said was - ""Every time Leicester got told what was being offered, they increased it by one or two thousand a week. It got silly." http://www.southlondon-today.co.uk/Sport.cfm?id=617&headline=Berylson:
Had Chris Wood not hit the ground running like he has do you really think Millwall we keep going on about the fees Newsflash. He was a West Brom player not Millwall. You should have negotiated a better deal from the start. If you dont it turns into a free for all come January. Just like Danny Drinkwater did last year
