Think that's them pretty much done for top 4. 3 wins should guarantee it. Can't see 72 points not being enough.
They need to beat Liverpool at home or they are in trouble. I'd imagine Wigan will beat Swansea at home but Newcastle's GD is a lot better than the teams below them
I still think Arsenal are on shakey ground. I reckon they'll drop points at United definitely. Tottenham I don't believe will drop any points - apart from a possible draw against us. I still think we can look well going into top 4, but now we have to get a result against Spurs. We can cope losing at United I hope. Spurs Chelsea is surely the decider.
why are you so sure you will lose to united, their defence is sh!t . You can beat them if you are on your game , no problem .
sounds like Mancini was right when he said other teams are scared of YOOnited. i personally hope you give em a right royal stuffing that bernard matthews would be proud of.
Villa smashing Sunderland 5-1, just what we want imo. Need Villa to be more or less safe by the time we play them and for Sunderland to be in contention for relegation when they play Spuds.
This result leaves wigan on 32 points; Villa - newcastle and sunderland all on 37 pts... Arsenal have to play newcastle and wigan you have villa and we have sunderland...thankfully they will be without one of their best outfield players who was sent off tonight when they play us could be one hell of an exciting end to the season but....we are bound to find a new and eventful way to ruin my summer...we've tried food poisoning, throwing away an 11 point lead so i dread to think what we'll dream up this year
you're right, Arsenal could end up having the toughest run in. If I'm honest I'd like to see Chelsea and Spurs get 3rd/4th, be interesting and humorous to see how goons cope without CL football to land on.
I suppose that's a positive spin on it. My initial reaction was that they certainly won't be a walkover.
Ditto...if only to see whilshere and carloza (Excuse spelling) deciding if they want to stay without CL football! But if I'm honest I just don't see us winning 3 matches (the minimum we'll need to have a chance imo) I think we'll trip up at stoke and get a draw at best and we always lose to you and think AVB and the players may well freeze (as the players did at wembley last year). That give us 7 points at most. which I think will leave us 3 points short...hope I'm wrong but it's the hope that always makes the inevitable crash and burn so painful
Teams that can't get games off on time don't deserve to be in a professional league. Shocking gamesmanship.
