Yes Italian managers do tend to be defensive but you can only work with what you have. Hopefully when JT & Zouma come back he will have better options in the short term. It's not perfect but he knows this. Give the guy credit FFS he will sort it out.

 

Yep. Zouma will be a massive bonus. Just worries me that we seem to rely so heavily on JT.

Tobes is right in that there's a few players there that are a bit 'precious'

But Conte is working with what he's got at the moment, which defensively ain't a lot.

Cahill is a liability, Ivanovic is becoming one. Luiz I can't take seriously, I think he's a clown. Azpilicueta is a decent player being played out of position.

The team balance is wrong and he's picking too many off-form players, for me.
Ivanovic has started both of the last two seasons playing like **** and Matic looks miles off his game.
Two holding midfielders just seems to invite pressure and their dangerous players aren't getting enough service.

No we will never forget what he did for us although he did lose a bit of his magic when he allowed himself to lose the dressing room. He will always be special here but hopefully nowhere else. Just poking a bit of fun at united fans if you know what I mean.
