She said she didn't remember having sex with him or whether she consented. The police thought he raped her, charged him and the jury agreed. That's why he went to prison.
Been reading into the case and can't actually believe he was found guilty, there is literally no evidence against him.

The evidence is flawed to say the least but he did get convicted. Hopefully, he will learn not to put himself in a position where a woman can accuse him of rape. I do feel sorry for his girlfriend though. Full credit to her for standing by him. IMO the kid has served his time and should be allowed to pursue his career.
