Despite some teams displaying moments of Quality, Coventry for example, it seems this season's Championships is largely composed of mind-numbing mediocrity! Pompey, SFC and WBA seem afflicted by a struggle to score goals.

I'm sure I read that his loan spell, weirdly, is only until 31 December.

That could be an interesting conversation between us and Jones come Christmas.

Shouldn't have let him go. I feel like it only happened because Spors was in full flow, trying to impress. But it was totally unnecessary.

Interesting results again last night. Doesn’t feel like any team is really getting into a rhythm and winning consistently yet. Good for us as with the squad we have we should be capable of doing that and despite the dodgy start we are still easily within touching distance of the autos. Probably already be a write off in previous seasons.

The stand out for me is the massive amount of draws so far this season. Everyone except Blackburn and Sheffield United have drawn at least twice. No one has got off to a flier like Ipswich did 2 seasons ago. We are fortunate to only be 3 points off the play offs after an indifferent start to the season.

Wasn't it Preston who topped the league at this point last time? But yeah, Leicester and Ipswich were dominant up til xmas pretty much.

Not so sure

Understand West Ham still owe 15m of the 30m they paid for him, so could wipe the slate clean.

Not sure about wages though.
We aren't letting them off £15m to get a 30 year old back - just not something that aligns with our model at all. He'll only have a year left at the end of this season too. At his age, after a poor spell, they'd do well to even get £10m.
