    Ladies' Independence Day is Amanda's birthday but as that is on Monday, today is her birthday. As such there will be no sense from me tonight I'm afraid

    This afternoon it was a long trek round lakes and an African like landscape. Tonight, well, I'm already half pissed and still have dinner to look forward to

    <laugh> Recognising I was half pissed, I didn't drink any more. Played table tennis with the grand children and had a nice cuppa tea. Slept like a baby. Fed the horses. Fresh air. Sorted <cheers>

    If you just want something to sit on then yes they are very cheap. Probably pick something up for nothing these days. It's the time and cost of keeping them you have to think about, not to mention vet bills. One of our young horses went into hospital, a couple of years ago and cost us €5,000

    Oh come on it's quite simple really. Just move next to a Stables and use theirs. You don't have to feed it and it's a whole lot easier and cheaper. Besides who wants to shovel **** when you are sober.
