To be honest, from what I've read about both, if it were a straight choice between the Yank (on loan) or £1m for the Crawley lad, I think the Club has chosen wisely <cheers>

He probably spends his time with a sore neck watching the ball fly over his head constantly. Totally the wrong club for any player who can play and wants to play football. Perfectly suited to donkeys and cart horses who just like to hoof the ball.

There is talk the club had looked in to his attitude and not the best. But time will tell if we have got it right. A lot of clubs were after Morris, looks a bit of a coup for us

Swansea City midfielder Jay Fulton has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the club until the end of the 2023-24 season.

The deal means Fulton is set to bring up a decade of service in Swansea colours, having first joined the club from Falkirk in January of 2014.

The 26-year-old – whose previous deal had been due to run out at the end of the season - has since made 122 appearances for the Swans, scoring eight goals, and also had loan spells with Oldham and Wigan.

As I said time will tell. There plenty of clubs after Watters, just not as good as after Morris, I think the difference is yanks tend to go for it when they get a chance.

That goes for either of the ones we were linked to, had you heard of Michu much before he signed, me neither and the rest is history. Time will tell

I guess just as with Morgan Gibbs White, it's the dangers of the loan market.

I know Arsenal are a huge draw, but if he wasn't happy not playing at Newcastle, would he be prepared to be number 2 at Arsenal ?

Also, if he stays with us and carry on keeping clean sheets his value will go up and do he could have a pick of clubs in the summer.

Money talks, so a huge salary hike would be hard to refuse. It worked for Vorm, who was happy to sit on the bench at Tottenham.

Promotion may keep him here, but he wouldn't be cheap. There again, who goes cheap these days.

Apparently Connor hourihane has agreed a loan deal till end of the season. That is a good signing.
